PMO all praise for MaharashtraAhead


                                                  

New Delhi , १६ : The Prime Minister Office (PMO) has lauded the efforts of Maharashtra Government’s Directorate General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR) for publishing a Special Issue on the eve of  completion of three  years of the Central Government called ‘Years of Rebuilding India’ in its official mouthpiece MaharashtraAhead.    
             
            DGIPR has for long been highlighting various developmental projects and schemes of both the State as well as Centre Government through its monthly magazine so as to make people aware about these programmes. The Directorate has brought out a special edition to mark the three years of Central Government in its May edition which has been published in five languages including Gujarati, Hindi, English, and Urdu besides Marathi. The overall development that the country achieved during the past three years under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has been aptly highlighted in this issue and the same has come for praise by PMO’s official tweeter handle @PMOIndia. It has also given the link of MaharashtraAhead’s pdf Copy.
             
                 The Maharashtra Chief Minister, Shri Devendra Fadanvis has written a special article titled‘ INCREDIBLE AND INIVINCIBLE’ in this edition. Other than this, Union Cabinet Ministers representing the State of Maharashtra including Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Railways, Shri Suresh Prabhu, The Human Resources Development  Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekar , Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Minister, Shri Anant Geete, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power , Coal, New and Renewable Energy and Mines, Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of State for Defence , Dr Subhash Bhamre , Minister of  State for Home Affairs, Shri Hansraj Ahir and Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment , Shri Ramdas Athawale have also written articles or given interviews in this regard. Besides, some Delhi-based Journalists have also contributed their write-ups in this issue. The special issue also mentions about financial aid given to Maharashtra for various projects and  Programmes during the course of past 3 years as also the use of  modern technology in bringing about transparency in governance.
