One Crore Plus Loan Cases Approved, Tops With Max Loans
Under ‘Tarun’
New Delhi, Aug 4: Under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojna, (PMMY) a total of Rs 57 thousand 443 crore loan has been disbursed till July 2018. Till date, more than one crore loan proposals have been sanctioned and Maharashtra tops for disbursing 16 thousand 529 crore rupees of loan amount under ‘Tarun’.
In order to streamline and
develop the unorganized small scale industry sector across the nation and to provide
them with adequate financial funding assistance through loans, the Prime
Minister, Shri Narendra Modi started the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana scheme in
April 2015.
Under this scheme, loans are
disbursed in three categories, Shishu (infant), Kishore (Teenager) and
Tarun (Young). Under these three levels, loans are disbursed between 50
thousand to 10 lakh rupees.
Six
Lakh Crores Disbursed Till July 2018 Across the Nation
From April 2015 to July
2018, under the Mudra Yojana, 13 crore 37 lakhs 85 thousand loan proposals were
approved and loan amount for Rs 6 lakhs, 32 thousand crore has been disbursed. A loan assistance to the tune of Rs 6 lakh 10
thousand crore rupees of loan was distributed till July end.

than one crore cases approved in Maharashtra
Loan proposals to the tune
of One crore 14 lakhs 47 thousand, 237 have been approved in Maharashtra from
April 2015 to July 2018. Under which, though the loan funding assistance for Rs
59 thousand crore have been approved, however, loans to the tune for Rs 57
thousand 443 crore have been disbursed till the end of July 2018.
Maharashtra tops in disbursement Under ‘Tarun’, 16 thousand crore disbursed
Under the ‘Tarun’ category
of Mudra Yojana, a loan funding assistance for Rs 5-10 lakh is provided for the
unorganized small scale industry sector. In Maharashtra, 2 lakh 25 thousand 223 loan
proposals have been sanctioned during the last three years. So far, a total
loan for Rs 17 thousand 119 crore rupees has been approved, however, 16
thousand 529 crore rupees loan funding has been disbursed.
Under Shishu loan category, More than one crore cases approved
Under Shishu loan category, loan amount up to Rs 50 thousand is provided. In Maharashtra, till date, 1 crore 48 lakhs and eight thousand cases have been approved. So far, under the Shishu loan category, 24 thousand 168 crore rupees were sanctioned and loan disbursal for Rs 23thousand 782 crore rupees has been made so far.
17 thousand crore loan Disbursed in Kishore category
In the Kishore loan category
of Mudra Yojana, an amount of 50,000 to 5 lakhs is given to the applicant. In
Maharashtra, am amount for Rs 8 lakhs 3 Thousand 950 loan cases were approved
from April 2015 to July 2018. For which, sanctions have been received for Rs 17
thousand 741 crores and 17 thousand 130 crore rupees were have been disbursed
till July end.
14 thousand crore loan disbursed in 7 months
In Maharashtra, under the
Mudra Yojana 14 thousand 582 crore rupees of loan was disbursed in seven months,
from January to July 2018. Under the Tarun loan category, 4 thousand 353 crore
Rupees, under the Kishore loan category, 5 thousand 174 crore and under Shishu
loan category, Rupees 5 thousand 55 crore loan was disbursed. States disbursing
loans to more than 50 thousand persons include, Maharashtra Karnataka
Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
