New Delhi, 27: The State Information and Public Relations Association (SIPRA), New Delhi, unanimously elected Shri Dayanand Kamble, Deputy Director from Maharashtra State as the President of the States’ Association in the National Capital. The outgoing President, Sanjay Saxena, Joint Director, Madhya Pradesh welcomed the new President and wished him for his future tenure in a general meeting held at Maharashtra Information Centre, here today.
In a meeting held at Maharashtra Information Centre, many of the State Members of SIPRA were present. Officers from Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, posted in the New Delhi unanimously elected Shri Kamble as the new President. The Elective body comprising of Vice-President and other dignitaries would be elected subsequently.
A registered Association, SIPRA has been formed to strengthen the PR activities at the national level. Exchange of ideas pertaining to the welfare activities, policies and schemes benefitting States’ by voicing it on the national platform, emulating and adopting the same at their respective states are some of the major objectives behind forming of this association.
Members from Maharashtra Information Centre, PRO Amarjyot Kaur Arora, Deputy Director, Smt P.H.S.Malini from Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Joint Director, Umesh Mishra, Director Sunil Singh, PRO Asmita Mishra, APRO Daksha Shukla, Deputy Director Shri Jagdeep Duhan from Haryana, Madhya Pradesh’s Assistant Director Zakia Roohi were present in the meeting.
