5 STUDENTS FROM MAHARASHTRA GOT NATIONAL MERIT AWARD


NEW DELHI, 03 :  Students of standard X and XII of merit list from Maharashtra were honoured by Dr. Ambedkar National Merit Award 2015 with the hand of Union Minister for Social Justice, Shri Thaadwarchand Gehlot .

          Union Minister distributed the award, at the function of Dr. Ambedkar National Merit award and Dr.Ambedkar National Essay Competition 2015,held by Social Juctice & Empowerment Ministry. Minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment, Krishan Pal Gurjar and Vijay Sampla,Secretary Anita Agnihotri, Under Secretary Arun Kumar, Joint Secretary B.L.Meena and Director of Ambedkar Foundation J.K.Dwivedi were present at the occasion.

        Union Minister distributed the Prizes to the  Scheduled castes and Scheduled tribes merit students from the various states of the country .The senior secondary students from Maharashtra who received awards were Rahul Bansode from Shripatrao Bhosale High school of Osmanabad, Sarthak Akkulawar of Holly city High schoolof Nanded.The students from Higher secondary  school,who received the award were Rahul Dongare of Art faculty from Dayanand Art college of Latur and Pranjali and Rituja Badge of Science faculty from Dr. Ambedkar college of Nagpur .They were honoured with the cheque of 60 thousand prize money with certificates and books.
