New Media is Playing Effective Role Encouraging PR - National PR Workshop Starts Today



 NEW DELHI,23:  New Media is playing an effective role in  Promoting and enhancing Public Relation, stated by Director General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR), Government of Maharashtra, Shri Chandrashekhar Oak.

                The National Public Relation Workshop starts today in the capital                     organized  by the Maharashtra Information Centre (MIC) . Public Relation Officers from various States and Union Territory attended the workshop. Director General Chandrashekhar Oak, Director Shivaji Mankar and Deputy Director  of  MIC Dayanand Kamble were present on the dias. 

          Maharashtra Information Centre every year organizes National workshop on Public Relation . This year the workshop on ‘Public Relation in Government’  held at Hotel Royal Plaza in the Capital. Introductory Remark  was given by Deputy Director Dayanand Kamble and Inaugural Speech was delivered by Director General Chandrashekhar Oak.



    Speaking on the occasion Mr. Oak highlighted the important role of P.R, how it has been changed drastically.Now a days social media is very active and there is a rapid Transformation of Traditional Media. He  congratulated the Deputy Director Mr. Kamble for organizing the National level workshop on Public Relation in Government.

In the Inaugural Function Mr. Kamble expressed happiness that the PR issues in Government are getting due attention. He made an important suggestion about Public Relation tactics. He  thanked all the Delegates from various states for participating in the workshop. He discussed enchancing new technology for Public Relation.


      
     Maharashtra Information Centre first ISO Certified office.

Maharashtra Information Centre New Delhi became first ISO certified office of DGIPR. Mr.Oak  handedover the certificate to Mr. Kamble on the event.

The workshop was made available through  live webcast.        Senior officers from Maharashtra including State Information and Public Relations Department, from Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Manipur, Delhi, Nagaland, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Information and Public relations Department of the  States of the union and state officers have been participated in this workshop. The four day workshop will have various technical Session. The first Session was on “Social Media & PR” BY Shri. B. Narayanan Director of National Media Centre. “Blogging & Personal Branding” done by Smt. Samita Biddu. The afternoon Session was focused on "Content Distribution in Today’s Mobile World” by Shri Rajneel. The anchoring of the event was done by Archana Mirajakar .
